Service Fees
The Victorian Psychology Clinic accepts clients under the following referral and payment options:
- Mental Health Treatment Plans
- Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plans
- Chronic Disease Management Plans
- Private Health Insurance
- TAC
- Work Cover
- Private Fee
- DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted with a valid GP referral.
Fees for Individual Therapy
Fees at VPC vary depending on the practitioner, appointment type and funding pathway. Psychologists consulting at VPC set their own fees, and charge below the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee for a standard 50-minute consultation.

As a general guide, fees at VPC range from:
- $225 - $265 for a 50-minute consultation within business hours
- $245 - $285 for a 50-minute consultation outside of business hours
Clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan or Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
As of 1 July 2025, the Medicare rebate is $145.25 for a Clinical Psychologist and $98.95 for a Registered Psychologist.
Please note that if you are referred under a third-party funder, such as WorkCover, your rebate may differ from a Mental Health Treatment Plan rebate.
DVA Health Cards, Gold and White, are accepted with a valid GP referral.
Fees for Couples Therapy
Fees for couples therapy vary depending on the practitioner, appointment type and therapeutic approach.
Some couples therapy at VPC may involve an assessment phase followed by treatment sessions. For example, Gottman Method Couples Therapy may include:
– An initial joint session
– An individual session with each member of the couple
– A feedback session
Fees for couples therapy may include:
– $300 for a 50-minute couples therapy session during business hour
– $320 for a 50-minute couples therapy session on Saturdays
– $440 for a 120-minute couples therapy session
Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for couples therapy.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision for:
- Psychologists undertaking their Clinical Psychology Registrar Program
- Registered Mental Health Professionals
- Secondary Supervisor for other Registrar Programs
- Students undertaking higher degree placements
- 5+1 Program
- $230+GST for 50min sessions

Fees for Assessments
As of April 2026:
- ADHD Assessment: $1,600
- Autism Assessment: $1,850
- Combined ADHD and Autism Assessment: $2,200
- Cognitive Assessment / IQ Test: $1,250
Assessment fees are paid across the assessment sessions, rather than as one upfront payment.
